Quick Start Tutorial

Cozimo's Collaborate Now offers you a fast and simple way to give and get feedback on any image or web page. You can leave feedback independently or work together in a live "whiteboard" session with any number of collaborators. Here's how it works:

Step 1 : Select the image ...

1. Click Browse and then select an image file from your computer to upload.
2. Alternatively, you can specify the URL of an image on the web and click Download.
3. To be able to screengrab any web page from a Firefox browser click Install to add our Collaborate Now extension (available only from Firefox browsers).

1. Install the Firefox Extension. You can get it here. Restart Firefox to finish the installation.
2. Visit the web page you want to capture and right click on it to activate the context menu.
3. Select the portion of the page that you wish to capture from the Collaborate Now > rollout menu.
   Note: You can also activate the rollout menu by clicking on the Cozimo logo  in the status bar.
4. The selected portion will be captured and automatically loaded to the Collaborate Now workspace.

Step 2: View, edit and annotate the image.

• Click on the Edit tab to change the name or provide a description of the image.
• Use the tools on the TOOLS palette to zoom, pan and annotate the image. Click here to see a complete description of each tool.
• You can move all palettes around by clicking and dragging their title bars.
• Click on any visible "pins" to open and read the note and reply to it.
• The first time you use a tool to annotate you will be asked to provide a name to identify your annotations with.
• Click Collaborators to see a listing of all the people who have left annotations on the image. Click Hide or View next to each persons name to control the display of that person's annotations. The name of all the collaborators who are currently online annotating the image with you will be shown in bold above the line.
• Click Chat to open a CHAT palette for interactive discussions with online collaborators. You can also chat within any open note.
• Click Print to print out a report that will show the image and annotations as displayed. The notes and chat will be printed under the image.
• Bookmark to come back to your annotations.

Step 3: Save and Share the image.

• Your image and annotations are automatically saved at the URL indicated. Copy and paste the URL to save it for your own future reference or to share it with other people you want to get feedback from or collaborate with interactively.
• You can email the link and a personal message directly from this page. You will automatically receive a copy of the email for your records.
• You can embed the Collaborate page itself into any website that supports it by copying and pasting the EMBED HTML code into the HTML of the web page you want to include it in.
